I created a new identity for Sterts, an organisation committed to celebrating history and fostering innovation within the arts. The rebranding process has a finite deadline to meet a season launch and was turned around in 6 weeks, launching in Dec ‘24.
The amphitheatre evokes a sense of place and the vibrancy of performance, while the dynamic, ‘dancing’ letters and the iconic ‘R’, shaped like founder Ewart Sturrock’s memorial stone, anchor Sterts to their roots and legacy.
As part of the rebrand I worked with award-winning writer, performer, and creative producer Malaika Kegode, who has beautifully captured the essence of Sterts, celebrating its role as a place where stories unfold and connections are made. Her poem is designed to be used in its full form or pulled out in punchier segments.
